Project Summary:
Brand Identity & Design • Brand Guidelines Development • Adobe Creative Cloud Applications • Art Direction • B2B • Stakeholder Management
Project Brief:
I designed two color palette and device logo concepts for Perosphere Technologies' PoC Coagulometer.  The handheld device measures how quickly blood clots, which is critical for patients on anticoagulant medications. The goal(s) was developing a product brand identity in the early stages of product marketing. Two device names were selected, the ISAAC300 and Aura 300. The target audience consisted of physicians using the device for bedside care.

Design Approach:
I participated in a series of creative discovery sessions with stakeholders to better understand the inner workings and usage of the device. The colors of red and purple were agreed upon to represent blood and coagulation. I researched various color combinations that would complement these colors based on the device prototype. I also took into consideration the colors of similar products already in the market. I looked at the same considerations for the fonts I used in the logos. The challenge(s) in this project was space and the application of the logo on the device itself, but also thinking beyond just a color palette and logo to create a complete product brand identity that sets the device apart from competitors.

Design Results:
While the final approved color palette and logo evolved, these two concepts helped the stakeholders shape the device's ultimate visual direction.
