Overview:
I designed this two-page informational flyer for Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis’ Advantage Mortgage Purchase Program (Advantage MPP). The program offers member institutions such as banks and credit unions the opportunity to sell eligible mortgages through their Advantage MPP program. The flyer was ultimately going to print so I needed to keep in mind color, file formatting, and image resolution quality. The goal(s) of the flyer was to inform and drive mortgage sellers to contact Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis for additional information.

The design challenge(s) were space limitations. Logos, images, and copy were provided by Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, and all of the copy was important to prospective institutions as was the contact information.

Approach:
Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis is a trusted financial institution centered on growing communities. I wanted to make sure that the design was clean, with white space for elements to breathe. I also wanted to incorporate imagery that focused on Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis’ commitment to community, so I chose an aerial image of a neighborhood at the top with Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis’ logo motif as an overlay. I also chose a two column grid layout for the copy with headers and supporting copy in their blue and gray colors, highlighting the advantages in their neon green color in the right column. Overall, the messages I wanted to convey were trust and support.

While Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis did not choose this concept for implementation, they responded positively to the flyer’s readability, visual approach, and my brand stewardship.
